My rating of three stars was an "average" rating. It wasn't meant to offend you. Your advice was fine, and some of it hit home. Does the three rating mean something to you like points or something? I don't understand what the problem is or the reason for your not "wasting your time".

The ratings tell me what a person thinks of my answer. I always strive to give top quality answers and if a person thinks my answer is only average then they should go to a person that they place more trust in. If they do not feel like my answer is good then I am wasting my time going through the thought process necessary to decide what information to provide the person that might help them. I do not use canned answers to social problems like you but spend a great deal of time trying to decide on the right advice to give.
