Hi. I am a 25 year old single mom of a 9 month old. I really want to have a relationship with a man. It is hard for me to get out to go to clubs, ect. Therefore, I have been meeting men online. My problem is that I really have no babysitter so I can't come and go as I please. Will I find a man who will understand and put up with this? Right now I am interested in this one guy. He lives 2 hours away and wants to meet half way sometimes. How do I explain that I can not just do this on call? And that my daughter will most likely have to tag along?....Thanks

This question I can really relate to. I met my current husband when my daughter was only four months old! From the beginning she was a part of our dates. Only rarely would we get away by ourselves. I am so glad to have met him in this part of my life because he and my daughter are so very close. Her first word was "da da" and it was lovingly directed to his face. To meet a man with your daughter, do some type of activity that has a daycare on site. (Like a gym or bowling alley.) Then you can do a social adult activity and still have your daughter with you. (I met my husband at Cherry Chase bowling alley.) You are luck that your child is so young and yet not a newborn. At nine months they are adorable and hard not to fall in love with. Hope this has been helpful. -Dena
