How does it feel to work for the man who killed your daughter?

I wonder how Moxon feels now. I wonder if he believed the story that Stacey had gone down into the transformer vault looking for the cause of what was killing squirrels. That transformer vault behind a locked gate with a locked manhole cover that only two people could lift and in a high security area where the relays for the perimeter fence microphones are and so guarded at all times. Does he wonder why when Hemet base first called the authorities it was the fire brigade saying they had a burning car. Does it not cross Moxon's mind that they intended to take her burnt body out of that vault, place it in a car and set light to it for the fire brigade to find to cover up that she had been in the vault? Does it not seem odd to him that if she had indeed died in the transformer vault looking for dead squirrels that they would have reported it as such from the outset? Why say there was a burning car? Then why wait an hour before calling the sheriff? Could it be that the burning car thing didn't work after all because it was too dangerous to move her charred body because a few more would have been electrocuted in the process? And they needed an hour to come up with a new story? And a joky little story at that! Looking for dead squirrels. Tee hee hee.

I wonder what it is like to work for a screaming, swearing, spitting, bullying half-man who killed your daughter.
