Blessings from our lord above to those who attempt to help me! My problem is my son-18 yr.old just told me that he is a witch and also his girlfriend of one month. He was raised in an christian enviroment and accepted Christ at approx. age 14. He says that these witches(wicca) only do good spells on themselves. I believe there is only one God and that any magic/power recieved from other sources is evil. I don't know what to do! I know that it promises if you teach a child the right path to take that he will come back to it and I know to pray. He says that he did this two weeks ago., and I asked him if he still believes in God,Christ and his salvation and he said yes, but I'm not so sure that he isn't just telling me what I want to hear. Please help me and let me know if there is anything I can do further. Thank you to those who answer my question and may the Lord bless you!

Greetings,
. So sorry to hear about your situation. I will be certain to voice a prayer after this response. When reading your post an immeidate thought came to mind - Simon Magus. He was a powerful sorcerer who came into contact first with phillip and the peter and john. . When Simon came into contact with Phillip He saw the signs and wonders performed by philip and wanted it. He "Believed" and was baptized. Yet when Peter and John showed up he asked to buy the power they possessed and Peter rebuked him as a lost man even though he had "believed". Even demons believe in God. Read acts chapter 8. Read it with your son. Explain to Him that a "saving" belief is one that has feet or that carries you in the ways of Christ. Explain that sorcery has the feet of a lost person and carries you to those places. Simon was rebuked by peter because He wanted this power to be impressive or to wield it and certainly not to give glory to God. I think that chapter might be a good "object lesson" chapter for you to share with your boy.
. AGain I'm sorry and you will be in my thoughts and prayers today as much as the spirit leads.
Peace in Christ, Rev. Joe
