I have a really great summer job, the only thing is that it is at a Christian camp. I am Wiccan. I don't have anything against Christians it's just that I am afraid that my campers will ask me about God and the devil and heaven. Should I give them the generic "God loves you" answer or can go further and talk about other religions with them??

Aaah, a very fussy subject, I must say. It depends on the level of ethical debate you are willing to cause and answer to, and the level of acceptance you feel you might recieve. Personally, i feel that your belief is a very true thing, and should be expressed in a tactful manner. I wouldn't suggest devulging every last tidbit;when asked about God, I'd simply respond by saying that I believe in him, but I feel he has some friends as well. Depending on the age of the campers, you can be more or less specific, and if heaven and hell comes up, I'd probably start by saying that hell scares me too much to really believe in it; or just say that you feel that all that everyone recieves what they deserve, and that hell is not a place for anyone, no matter what religion. That's what forgiveness is all about, and every religion preaches forgiveness (some just charge more money, that's all!)
Good luck!
