I have a really great summer job, the only thing is that it is at a Christian camp. I am Wiccan. I don't have anything against Christians it's just that I am afraid that my campers will ask me about God and the devil and heaven. Should I give them the generic "God loves you" answer or can go further and talk about other religions with them??

Really good question.
I would suggest that you take the "listen and repeat" stance. I only suggest this because I have a young neice and her mother (my sister in law) has ademently forbid me to discuss my faith with her. Of course, my neice asks me all the time about "Godly" issues and I must respect my sister in law's "rule" about discussions. I repeat the question to my neice and ask her her opinion. (ie Is there really a God?? When I die will I go to Heaven??) I simply ask her opinion: Do you believe in your heart that God is real?? Do you think you have lived a good life and lived up to the teachings of God??? These are questions that she will answer herself and I have avoided the wrath of my sister in law. If the questions get too big or out of control (Do you believe in God, etc.) I answer truthfully. I tell her "Yes, but maybe not the same way you do." And if that doesn't satisfy her, I tend to explain that there are many religions out there Baptist, Christian, Mormon, etc and they all believe in God, but maybe not the same way she does. Kids can identify a song and dance, so be honest, but be neutral. Good Luck with the job and enjoy the summer. You never know, the kids may be so excited about being away from home that they won't care about God issues outside of religion class.
