Merry meet. I avoid give out spells myself. One of the best layout that I have read was by Scott Cunnigham. His Magical Herbalism or Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs. I get more from the spells I write for myself than the ones I get from books. I do use the out line of spells that I get from books as guidelines for my own spells. I hope this helped.
