Several questions: 1) I've heard there are many sects to the wiccan practice. Does anyone know how many and why? Is this disunity? 2) Are all wiccans also pagans and vise-versa? I noticed many list themselves as "experts" in both. 3) How does your practice define the difference between the "soul" and the "spirit"? 4) How do you view the christian bible? Does it hold any truths/beliefs for you? I appreciate your time and effort, and value your opinions.

1. Sorry this part of the answer is vague. There are a lot of different sects. Why Diversity: like the christians have Baptist, Methodist, Catholics, There is one that fits the individual.
2. Almost all Wiccans are Pagan, not all Pagans are Wiccan. Almost all Wiccans believe in a God and Goddess. A Pagan religion is one that more than one God and or Goddess. Like greek mythology, and the Hindu religion.
3. I believe that the soul and the sprit are one and them. ( my opinion)
4. The christian bible is a beautiful piece of fiction. I think that some of it's writer might have been gifted physics and there works have been manipulated to the christian beliefs.
Merry part. (:K

Thanks for your comments. Point of reference: Christians believe that the soul and spirit are two distinct things. The spirit is the "breath of life" if you will, that is given to us by God. It cannot be destroyed or harmed by evil. It is what makes us spiritual creatures. The soul is composed of three parts: 1)the mind; reasoning, thinking, intellect 2)emotions; pain, sorrow, pity, anger, joy, happiness, etc. 3)free will; the ability to make choices and decisions We believe that the soul is what sets us apart from all other living creatures (animate and inanimate) that are void of a soul. The soul can be acted upon, hurt, manipulated and controlled by our earthly environment.
