I would like to ask what everyone thinks about some of the new TV shows and movies that feature "witches" and such. I like the show "Charmed" because it doesn't glorify the craft, and because it sticks pretty closely to the truth...for the most part. Please give me your feedback. Blessed Be

Ms Hellfire., You know, I really liked charmed, too, even if it was a bit farfetched sometimes. (A little too much like a soap opera, but then hey, it IS tv.) But i saw an episode that they had saved a womans life who was a witch. They made fun of her for casting her own protection spells over the girls and the house, they rolled their eyes and said she was not a real witch, just a witch practitioner. It bothered me that they would have the characters pick on someone who was supposed to be a kindred. You know? Everything with a pinch of salt, i say. There are so many times i'm watching something with my son, and it seems really true to what we practice, then the program throws a bit loop into it. This inevidably leads me into a 10 minute explination of what the "t.v. people " might have thought, and what It is we really practice..

I saw that same episode and it did bother me, but what really bothered me was how annoying they made that character. :) She would have gotten on my nerves too. I have seen and really enjoyed the ones where they have gone to "witch pratitioners" for help and guidance. Thanks for your input!!
