I was always taught that a true Neo-pagan is polytheistic, monotheistic, agnostic, and atheist, all rolled up into one paradoxical package. More often than not I have found this to be the case. After all, I have met Christian Wiccans, and even Catholic Wiccans.

Merry Meet Minerva, That is the very thing I have always loved about the Neo-pagan movement. This relaited to another answer I gave today about crisis of faith. However given the nature of man more than the true nature of the god/goddess by allowing all gods to be one god we create an acceptance of other peoples paths to enlightenment. This creates an enviroment of open thought so that we can give the value and credit to those that do not worship in the way same way we do. My Mother in Law had been a devote Catholic. After recieving a deck of Angle Tarot card from me things just progress. Soon she began asking more and more questions about my faith. Now because of my belief her questions were easy for me. I saw our god as being one and the same. Now this part is sort of directed at RomanceXpert as well. She asked me how she could be Catholic and a wiccan. I told her she could not but she could be Wiccan and a Catholic. Intrigued she began reading and before I knew it she was well on the wiccan path. What stuck with me was what she said. She told me that most Wiccans she had come across were more Christian than many Christians she knew. She felt her Faith was stronger than ever. From what I have seen Wicca has allowed her to balance both faith's in a balance that is good for her. I would also like to add that I have read all your posting and i found them to be wonderful. So profound in fact that they create questions and lend themselves learning. Thank you for sharing your insight. Blessed Be

Thanks, I'm trying... it's difficult sometimes because of the prejudice, but if at least I can help one person understand what we're about, then all is well as far as I'm concerned.
