Hello,
Sorry for my ignorance, but can someone share with me more about Wicca? Is it a religion or a belief? Its history? Any websites I can visit? Please share with me more.
Thank you and have a nice day :)
regards.

Wicca is a polytheist religion that focuses on two main divinitory figures, one male and one female. This is such because all humans have male and female characteristics, so it is easier for us to relate to deities with these same attributes. The God and Goddess are one sex-less deity, but it is more comprehensible, and more comforting for us to look at it as two. Wicca is very loosely put together (that's what attracts a lot of people) so there are MANY different variations on the names of the deities/their roles in life. Wiccans believe in reincarnation and karma. We see the world as nothing being completely good or evil...therefore there is no absolute heaven or hell to us. The "objective" -for lack of a better term- is to become one with Nature and it's cycles. The closer you get to knowing the Earth, the closer you are to the divinity and enlightenment. I suggest you start a journal of nothing but information on Wicca. There is far more detail involved than I could ever go into here, but here are some sites that will help you start your journey...feel free to come back and ask more specific questions later :) www.witchvox.com (Witch's Voice) www.pagans.org www.zoeesgarden.dreamhost.com/welcome.htm zoees garden ...and the authors Silver Ravenwolf, Raymond Buckland, Gerina Dunwich, Raven Grimassi, and Scott Cunningham, well, pretty much anything on the Llewellyn label.
P.S. Don't be so hard on yourself...everyone has to start somewhere :)
