The only thing that Wicca emphatically implies and requests is that its practitioners follow the "Wiccan Rede", which is: "As it harm none, Do as thou wilt."
Our basic philosophy is that everything in and on this planet and beyond has a connection and that positive energy promotes positive energy just as negetive promotes negetive. People are free to do and say as they will as long as it does not harm themselves or those around them.
We also abide by the "Threefold law" which is that no matter what you put out in deed or energy, it will come back to you threefold. If you do something bad, that negetive energy will return to you threefold. I think of it as a constant incentive to always do good and think positive.
Otherwise, Wicca is a very unstructured religion, which is why we have so many followers. And I don't mean unstructred as in disorganized. I mean that we do not have rules set in stone and no one person, man or woman, has more power than the next. We do have priests and priestesses, but instead of having power as they do in other religions, they are looked upon more as mentors and teachers who are willing to teach and learn all the same.
