Is hinduism pagan??? If yes, is there any connection between these religions now?

Yes and no.
You could call it pagan in the sense of it being derived from the same root (the Old Religion).
However, modern paganism in the western world centers on a lot of different mythologies, not only the Hindu deities but also Greek, Roman, Norse, Celtic, Mayan, Incan, Aztec, Egyptian, etc., while Hinduism has a very particular group of deities that are considered.
Western pagans can have depictions of Visnu, Isis and the Morrigan on the same altar. But you probably won't find Athena or Odin on a Hindu altar.
Aside from that, some of the other altar decorations (incense, flowers, etc.) may appear on both.
