I was always taught that a true Neo-pagan is polytheistic, monotheistic, agnostic, and atheist, all rolled up into one paradoxical package. More often than not I have found this to be the case. What do you think guys?

Well, I have to start by saying that throughout all of my studies I've seen enough largely varied practices held under the umbrella of the word Wicca to fill an entire database. While this may be an exaggeration, one thing has to be taken into account. Wicca isn't only about what others have written, what's been passed down, or what you hear through the ever expanding grapevine of our subculture. It's about personal belief and expression. There's absolutely no set way to go about your beliefs. Whatever you feel in your heart to be right, whatever suits your vision, and makes you comfortable is perfectly acceptable. I suppose that's one of the more attractive aspects of Wicca in general. But, generalizing Wicca into one category in and of itself does it no justice. There are so many beautiful and diversified traditions, each as individual and different as the people that follow them. Countless scores of them to be exact. And though there are many that surface through the writing of books, newspapers, television, and other media, there are still others, customized by the solitary practitioner, the large family oriented coven, the community in which a practitioner lives... As I tend to do when answering these questions (pardon me once again) I'm getting off the subject just a bit. Although I like to believe my sidetracking does help somewhat to the overall answer. So when it comes down to it, I would say definitely yes, when Wicca is looked at as a religion at large, it's all of those plus more. With so many people practicing their own ways, following set traditions, or even just adding onto existing sets of beliefs to give that touch of familiarity and comfort, how could it be anything to the contrary? =) We're blessed each in our own way, and see the world from shifting points of view. Each individual's vision on a subject as different as black and white once down to the fine print. Polytheistic, monotheistic, agnostic, atheist, orthodox, we're the Burger King of religions (sorry if that offends anyone, but I had to add a bit of humor ;) ), you can have it your way. And you'll be respected for your decisions, no matter what they are. Hope I didn't confuse more than I helped. Many blessings on you.

I loved the Burger King analogy. In my almost 15 years in this path I hadn't heard a simpler way to put it. :-)
