In MY case I really doubt it. I've been picketing weekly for over 14 months now without getting arrested or encountering even one violent incident.

Since I'm a picket of one I use a completely different picketing style. All 'aggressive' confrontations with them I've been able to defuse to the point where the person ended up just standing there with nothing else to say. That let me free to go back to doing what I was doing.

On several occassions staff members even came out and defended my right to be out there. I attribute all this to my non-confrontational picketing style. I don't give them anything to REACT to so they pretty much leave me alone.

One person acting alone CAN be very effective at getting the warning message out without causing a disturbance.
