Does anyone know anything about animal rights? 90 animals were taken by the SPCA in N.H.from a trailer-filthy,some found dead, all in really bad shape. SPCA court ordered to provide minimum care for the animals.Lady who neglected them has attorney on her side. What are the chances that she will get the animals back?? Animals were severely neglected.

In my part of the world, CANADA, animals have been removed from homes from neglect and or cruelty and then charged on both counts. Regardless of whether she/he has ten lawyers, the condition of the animals, the property and the state of health of these animals due to neglect or cruely are all the basis for a decision of a Judge. I have never heard of anyone having animals returned back into deplorable conditions. I am terribly upset by the thought of an animal especially a defenseless animal being mistreated or abused. It breaks my heart to see that someone who may have started off with good intentions could not continue to look after them. But rather than reach out for help was too embarrased to ask for help. I realize that these are just excuses but I do not know the two-sides of every story so I am on the side of the animals and they can't tell us the other side of the story but see their condition would be enough for me. Give her/him visitation rights but allow them the clean, safe and healthy surroundings as you or I would want.
This is my own personal view on the subject and a little bit of knowledge I know living here.
I hope I helped in some small way.
Thank you, ANNIE
