I've been taking Zoloft for almost seven years. When I try to go without it symptoms make my life miserable and I go back on...however, lately I think it's not working - I have running thoughts at night, when I should be sleeping, and I have a more flat affect during the day. I'm frightened. I imagine the zoloft's effectiveness is wearing out, that my body's system has grown too used to it - NOW WHAT?!

I am sorry to hear of what you have been going through, but don't give up on yourself talk to your doctor. And always remember to get a second or third opinion, the symtoms that you are having might be to something else so don't get discurared. I have know people and children that have been on medication for years without ever having a second opinion and when they did it was totaly different. But the most important thing that you can do now is have faith in yourself, don't give up neve give up, life is beautiful my friend.
