Hi. I have to do research on Multiple Personality Dissorder. I was wondering if you had a good idea for an hypothesis I could use. What should I try to prove in my essay? And also, is there any point I should stress about Multiple Personality?
Thanks alot!

You could use the theory on whether to integrate all the personalities together, vs allowing them to exist each on their own. If you look up the name Trudi Chase, (the book is When Rabbit Howls) you will hear a story of a woman with over 115 personalities. Her doctor does not think it would be helpful to have all of her personalities together, and she calls them her "troops" She is a very intelligent, and can be very interesting and witty, but I saw an interview with her once, and with 2 mins. saw her change into 5 different personalities. No one in the audience could tell, but her doctor confirmed it. Sybil, is a ground breaking story of MPD, but her doctor felt integration was essential. If you want more information, a good idea is to type into your search engine MPD, and you will find so many sites with information. However to find out about integration vs. leaving them as they are, might be more difficult to find. Check into the Trudi Chase case. That alone is enough information to go with something other than my suggestion, if you prefer. I hope this helps you out. Take care and good luck Brenda Sue p.s. oh, please rate my answer even if you think it's a bad one, because that is the way the site looks to see if I'm really helping others or not.
