The Curious Tale of Rev Austin Miles
Malicious Intent (Rev Miles objects
to the State of California "kidnapping" a six-year-old
boy with leukemia: he was found guilty of publishing the
sheriff deputy's home address out of malace.)
December 31, 1994 (My letter to Rev
Austin Miles, upon receiving a sample copy of his newsletter
The Connecting Link. The newsletter was advertised as
a media whereby the fighting, name-calling, and hate within
the Christian community would be addressed.)
February, 1995 (I address
some of the lies that were in the second issue of
The Connecting Link. Rev Miles presents "quotes" from
me that I did not write, adding and subtracting words from
sentences I did, and misrepresents EEOC guidelines.)
February 05, 1995 (I explain the
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's proposed guidelines
to Rev Miles. It seems he castigated it without bothering to
read it first.)
October 15, 1995 (I commend Rev
Miles for objecting to the State of California's "kidnapping"
of a child with leukemia. I then castigate him for claiming,
falsely, that there is an "amazingly effective" herbal
treatment.)
November 22, 1995 (I win a free
one-year subscription to The Connecting Link by
answering a quiz. I received one free issue, and the other
issues that year never arrived. Ah, well. No big loss.)
